Empty Homes Tax (City of Vancouver)
Vancouver's Empty Homes Tax is a City of Vancouver tax on homes left unoccupied for more than six months of the year, separate from the provincial speculation and vacancy tax.
It applies only within the City of Vancouver, not on the North Shore. Vancouver owners must declare their property's status every year.
