Listing agreement
A listing agreement is the contract between a seller and a brokerage that sets the list price, the listing term, the commission and how the property will be marketed.
Commission is negotiable and set out in dollars or percentages in the agreement. Read the term, the cancellation terms and how commission is shared with a buyer's brokerage.
